First Day in Kathmandu

Well, after a trip of about 30 hours, I arrived in Nepal safe and sound. After checking in to the hotel and taking a shower, I promptly took a long nap! This afternoon at about 5 PM, I was met here by Dev, who, along with his wife, runs the orphanage. He took me there to see the children and to spend time with him and his wife. Things are going well for the children, and they’re now back in school. I was able to present them with a donation that I had collected.

I want to write more and post photos but the jet lag is starting to kick in and I am nodding off!

I will write more tomorrow.

Thanks for the prayers!

David

  2. So great to see the kids! Thank the Lord for the love Dev and his wife have given to them. Praying the Lord will bless all that enter that household. Thanks Dave for sharing.
