We have been home from Uganda for about a month. Now that June is here we are thinking about our summer plans. The entire month of June will be crazy busy. In a week my eldest granddaughter will be graduating from high school and preparing for life at university. Lots of friends and family will be in town. In a couple of weeks Debbie and I will be attending a conference in Southern California and will spend 5 nights there. Also in June, 3 family birthdays, our 47th wedding anniversary, and Father’s Day!
Looking beyond June, we will have Ugandan pastor Zeddy of Kampala with us for a week and then in August some dear Christian friends from England. In the midst of all of this activity, we may be moving in to our new home, only 10 minutes from where we now live. Of course, all of this is “God willing”. We know that our plans don’t always work out the way we hope, so we always have the attitude of “if the Lord wills”. And, we’ll rejoice in the Lord in whatever comes our way.
I am in the early stages of planning another trip to Nepal for September, prayerfully considering which steps to take while there and how I can best serve the needs of the churches and ministries with whom I work. I am hoping to have someone accompany me again.
So, thank you for reading this and for supporting MTI in whatever way you can.
Love to you all,
Pastor David
